Western Builders successfully partnered with Home City Development, Inc. and Architecture EL, Inc.on Amethyst Brook Apartments, a thoughtfully designed affordable housing community in Pelham, MA. This project transformed a 2.6-acre site along Amherst Road, blending historical sensitivity with modern, energy-efficient construction.
At 20 Amherst Road, we demolished an existing house, barn, shed, and garage to make way for a new six-unit apartment building that complements the architectural character of the area. At 22 Amherst Road, we replaced an outdated factory building and garage with a three-story, wood-framed apartment building featuring 28 energy-efficient units. Constructed to Passive House standards, the building underwent rigorous testing and inspections to achieve exceptional energy performance and sustainability.
Guided by Comprehensive Permit and Conservation Commission requirements, this development not only provides high-quality, affordable housing but also prioritizes environmental responsibility.
